Power Hungry Hillary is biding her time until she can get in.
She has been rumored to have killed or blackmail people to get her way.
DNC convention is on July 12th, if it’s a brokered convention HRC could become the nominee. When enough republican senators are compromised, Pelsi could convey the articles of impeachment and the vote will go the wrong way.

Its the Dem playbook to keep issues alive as constant campaign fodder as opposed to ever actually solving anything. They've been at it for decades. Its why nothing in the country ever improves. The impeachment was just a tool that they can use right up until the 2020 election for maximum negative effect.

The Articles of Impeachment the House voted on are so weak many of the Democrat Senators weren't going to support them.

Article One, Abuse of Power, had absolutely NO crime in it. No evidence of a crime, state, civil or federal.

Article Two, "Obstruction of Congress", isn't even a real thing. The President is head of an EQUAL but separate branch of our government. His office has it's own POWERS and thus it's own PROTECTIONS. President Trump would be doing great damage to the Presidency if he did NOT utilize Executive Power as he did. THAT is a CHECK in the CHECKS AND BALANCES that the framers built in to the system.

The HOUSE is abusing it's power.

The HOUSE is full of tyrants acting OUTSIDE the Constitutional power that they must function under.

The HOUSE is a group of despots acting more like a bunch of fascists who railroaded the impeachment process to bully through impeachment articles that are so weak that Nutty Nancy and her boy toy Chucky Schumer needed the Senate to "find more evidence" for their trial.

That isn't the Senate's job.

That is the responsibility of the House.

That should tell you just how WEAK the House case is.

So, to your point,

They are being withheld because the House has no case and fears it will be completely embarrassed by a trial in the Senate.

They are being withheld because the House didn't do it's due diligence and instead acted like petulant children who are now looking to hold their breath until they get their way in the Senate.

They are being withheld, without the appointment of managers and now during an adjournment of the House until next year.

So, in essence, Mr. Trump is NOT impeached.

Mr. Trump has now been denied his due process rights in the House sham of an "investigation" AND he is now being denied his right to a speedy trial.

The entire democrat House will reap what they have sown.

Come November, in that election you mention, they will.

But it wont be what you're dreaming of.

It'll be your worst nightmare.

And Pelosi is violating the 5th Amendment "due process" and the 6th Amendment "right to a speedy trial". So much for "the rule of law" and "protecting the Constitution". Instead she is following Saul Alinsky's "Rule for Radicals":

Think what you will about Pelosi, she is a savvy political veteran who very rarely makes mistakes when it comes to getting things done in the House and riding herd on the more 'enthusiastic' lefties.

I suggested on this forum that after her obvious initial reluctance to go forward with impeachment proceedings her giving in was only to teach the radical elements of the party an object lesson by giving them what they want so they could see firsthand what blind, foaming at the mouth stupidity will get you. I still believe it very possible that that is the case.
