Sure do!!! Loved the firecrackers in the model cars. That long white coat, and all that very funny material about PARMA or as he also said AMRAP. He had lived in Parma just a few months before "..wondering if he had landed on alien planet, with all the high weirdness there.

That Ernie Anderson was one true "hipster", doing that show. He took off with ole friend Tim Conway, to try stab at Hollywood. He was dissapointed that he did not get to do shows, with he and Tim writing, but he made a small fortune doing the official voice of ABC for many years before lung cancer took down our beloved hero.

The "HOOLIHAN & BIG CHUCK SHOW" did do darn good job after Ernie split. I use to watch them in my teenage years, they were darn funny team. "Readings By Robert", "Parma School of Broadcasting", "Dr. Ben Crazy" all sent me laughing my ass off. Never found anything that original and funny since. When my family first started the freindship with the Wells family (Hoolihan), he could really not believe I thought that show was so funny, seemed until they got to come back in 1997,98, that he finaly understood we fans were "..telling him the truth..", "..John, I thought I was better as the Channel 8 weekend Weatherman..."

Am personal friend of "Hoolihan" (Bob Wells, his lovely wife Barb, and their 3 children). They came up here from their home in Florida to do those "Ghoulardi Parties" out at the Berea fairgrounds.

Bob said they stopped them from doing anymore of those because some person owns copyright to "Ghoulardi" thus wanted them to halt using that name! Can you imagine what jerk would cancel out the finest comedy teams ever to spawn in midwest. The whole crew from those early days were having a ball.

Hoolihan and wife were REALLY TOUCHED that so many, many fans were still willing to come and see them all, just like it was yesterday. They (the Wells´) are genuine, fine people who we love dearly! Write Bob Wells, c/o Big Chuck at the station, sure Mr. Shadowski, would be glad to forward them on.

Let Chuck know, too, how much you enjoyed those early days. (Heck, he is still going strong, thats around 39 years for him!)
