Re: What I've Noticed about saying Merry Christmas...
The Jewishs and their apologists claim that the Maccabean revolt was about defending religious liberty. Not so. In fact, it was about suppressing religious liberty. The narrative of the revolt begins with the supposed hero Mattathias killing another Jewish because he performed a sacrifice to a non-Jewish god. Here is the extract from the First Book of Maccabees: “Now when he had left speaking these words, there came one of the Jewishs in the sight of all to sacrifice on the altar which was at Modin, according to the king’s commandment.Which thing when Mattathias saw, he was inflamed with zeal, and his reins trembled, neither could he forbear to shew his anger according to judgment: wherefore he ran, and slew him upon the altar.”

Re: What I've Noticed about saying Merry Christmas...
The Hasmonean regime that the Maccabees established conquered foreign territories (including Gaza) and tyrannized their inhabitants, proving they were morally no better than the Seleucids they had fought against. It is therefore ludicrous to present them as principled heroes affirming the moral rights of indigenous people against foreign encroachment.

When I say “Merry Christmas,” it seems that most people light up. Like they’re happy to hear it.

Re: What I've Noticed about saying Merry Christmas...
The Jewishs refer to their antagonists in the Hanukkah story as “Greeks” even though they were the Seleucid empire based in Syria. The Seleucids were an ethnically Greek break-off from Alexander the Great’s empire. By referring to them as Greeks, therefore, the Jewishs are choosing an ethnic designator rather than a geographic one. When this is done in the modern world, the Jewishs typically call it racism. The Ptolemies, with whom some of the Jewishs allied against the Seleucids, were also an ethnically Greek break-off from Alexander the Great’s empire. The “Greeks,” then, were both adversaries and allies of Jewishs in the struggle. Casting it as a struggle between Jewishs and Greeks is a therefore a sign of both Jewish racism and contempt for historical truth.

Re: What I've Noticed about saying Merry Christmas...
Jewish propaganda often casts the conflict as one between native Judaism and Greek culture (or Hellenism), implying that Hellenic culture was somehow being externally imposed upon the Jewishs. In fact, many Jewishs willingly embraced Greek culture because they recognized its superiority. The conflict was primarily not between “Jewishs and Greek” but between Jewishs who embraced multiculturalism and Jewishs who didn’t. The Maccabee side was a Jewish equivalent of the Taliban today. It’s ironic, then, that world leaders given to praising the virtues of diversity and globalism are happy to celebrate an example of historical resistance to it.

Re: What I've Noticed about saying Merry Christmas...
do to repeat, Hanukkah is a fake festival that played no significant role in Jewish culture until American Jewishs worked it up in the 20th century to become a rival to Christmas. Their goal was to vitiate Christian tradition and defile feelings of national unity.

As you can see, almost everything the Jewishs say about Hanukkah is a lie, just like almost everything they say about any other subject.

Christmas: the time of year when all faiths put away their faiths and celebrate paganism.

True Story

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76871995

That is utter bullshine and you know it.

The date was chosen in the full knowledge that it was't Christ's birthday but was superimposed on an exiting pagan festival so as to more easily covnvert the pagans to Christianit.

For the same reason many ancient churches were built on ancient revered sites.

Simply good marketing.

I work part time in retail. My full time job is also a customer service/sales job.

I've worked I don't know how many hours in the last few days at the mall. I've said Merry Christmas to every last customer I had. And do you know what? Everyone said it back. Not one single person seemed offended. Not one gave me or my coworkers any looks. Which confirms to me that the whole "happy holidays" and removing anything Christian about Christmas is being put out there by the msm and the loony leftists. Even the people who looked like they could possibly be that type said Merry Christmas with a smile.
The other thing I've noticed for the second year in a row is that no one had had bad attitudes or been rude or impatient.

Has anyone else noticed that saying Merry Christmas is not a bad thing?

We had a shirt that said happy holidays and for that we could wear the t-shirts since they were for the holiday. I wouldn't wear one.
I have always refused to say happy holidays. I don't care what one celebrates because is someone said happy kwanza to me I'd probably say it back to them. Whatever they celebrate for the season...but this thread wasn't really about religions. It was noticing that people aren't sticking to the PC BS that's been going on for several years.

But yes, people seem glad to hear it. More so than last year. Sales have been better this year over last. Less people applying for credit which to me says they have the money to pay for things, not charging them.

I'm just glad that people seem friendlier and in the Christmas spirit.

Christmas

mass = death in catholic theology

In essence, the Mass is the ceremonial slaying of YESHUA Mashiach over and over again

have a merry ChristDeath

what a wonderful thing to be saying about Him on mythra's birthday, the renewing/ birth of the sun/ new year.

If you had any fear of God, you would never wish anyone a merry Christmas

Honoring Him with your lips, but your hearts are far from Him.

Simple explanation. It’s Trump

All the Dims are in hiding looking for countries with non extradition treaties.

All the RINOs are with them.

The Republicans are out in force shopping, because they have money this year, and the promise of much more.

Not to mention celebrating the foreshadowed asswhoompin they are gonna hand the Dims in November.

What’s not to have a Very Merry Christmas about?
