We are not ALLOWED to make changes to the System WE think are necessary as per our Constitution. Quoting: Blue State Rebel So....what then? Join these guys [link to conventionofstates.com (secure)] Article V of the U.S. Constitution gives states the power to call a Convention of States to propose amendments. It takes 34 states to call the convention and 38 to ratify any amendments that are proposed. Our convention would only allow the states to discuss amendments that, “limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, impose fiscal restraints, and place term limits on federal officials.” I'd think you'd have to clean out all levels of government before calling such a thing into motion. Clearly, the state governments are as usurped and infiltrated as anything. I would not trust the current crop to go making changes. That is for sure. |

After the report of Inspector General Michael Horowitz, the head of the FISA courts, Judge Rosemary Collyer, ripped into the FBI for what it did. “The FBI’s handling of the Carter Page applications, as portrayed in the [Office of the inspector general] report, was antithetical to the heightened duty of candor described above. “The frequency with which representations made by FBI personnel turned out to be unsupported or contradicted by information in their possession, and with which they withheld information detrimental to their case, calls into question whether information contained in other FBI applications is reliable,” the judge said. This reform is long overdue. Just ask Mike Lee, the Utah senator who has been warning about FISA, its subjective application, and the threat it poses to the public’s privacy for the past nine years. Horowitz’s report, he told me, is an “opportunity” to take a good, long look at FISA and what it has allowed our intelligence community to become. Re-Instate Smith-Mundt! User ID: 77961993 United States 12/27/2019 12:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Probably the biggest thing that Trump has revealed is that....our System is no longer a Democratic Republic and We the People are not in charge of it. Our convention would only allow the states to discuss amendments that, “limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, impose fiscal restraints, and place term limits on federal officials.” All my alarm bells are going off about this - - what an opportunity on a silver platter for the Deep State to hijack the Constitutional Convention and destroy our Constitution forever! "I have come to the conclusion that all news should be treated like 9/11, assume it is a psyop with actors participating in a staged event complete with props, until proven otherwise, in which case assume whatever is being recorded, reported, televised, is distortions/lying by omission/outright lies, until proven otherwise." - Anonymous, 4-13-12 |
