And then when you consider all other assets, including the mall, the cattle farms, all the temples, various properties globally, etc.... And when you consider that the church is organized as a corporate sole, meaning that the head of the organization technically owns all assets.... That means that Russell Motherfucking Nelson is likely the richest man in the entire world. But he REALLY needs your 10%. Merry Christmas, you godless heathens." It's ok, OP, when their financial world is crushed, things will change. There will be a lot of lost folks out there wondering wtf has happened. A time for real soul searching when their infallible leader is found to be fallible. |

What do you think of that? |

Quoting: callit The Bible is just fine. For what reason would you guess Mormons sent missionaries to the lands of the hot little blonde girls? Holy urges? Cool. To spread the word, the book is free. Recruitment, exactly. |

What do you think of that? Yeah, that's probably accurate, tho I don't know for sure. God is the Judge. Jesus is the way. The spirit guides. I see it as just the 'way of the world'. All systems of men become entangled with the ways of men. I personally abide by 'do not trust the arm of the flesh'. I am guessing that it is God's will that all systems and organized churches will fail. The purpose being to cause every man to have to be himself, without adhering to anyone but Christ and the Father. To show true colors. The great sifting. Most active mormons are putting their trust in their Prophet. A man. That crutch will one day be removed and force each person to only trust God. THAT will be an interesting day. The great schism. When both sides will point at each other and be sure that they are in the right. the question will be to trust the govt and support 'the law of the land' as prescribed by the articles of faith or to take the risk and follow God as prescribed by God. I see the Prophet telling the members to support the govt., at which time, the Church splits at all levels including the 'brethren'. Those that follow the govt prescription will be granted security. Those that don't will have to walk away. To where? ...... |

I've known a few Mormons, good folks as far as I am concerned. Allegedly at the higher levels of the church (second anointing) one is exempt from the consequences of sins.
