So they had the cameras all there for the shoot for social media? How nice.

Looks like a psyop to me. E.g. America get ready for POVERTY.

A good deed doesn't cease to be a good deed simply because it was documented.

They weren't pushing for notoriety but awareness.

Personally, I think the more people that read the story the better.

If everyone did this, we'd have less poverty and more heart.

Don't be negative, this is a beautiful story and I'm greatful for hearing it.
 Quoting: ~Newton's Own~

But is the story true?

IF it is NOT really TRUE and ENGINEERED then its final deed is NOT GOOD.

I agree with more heart.

But I hate LIARS and MANIPULATORS too.

Our media and governments are laced with those types of scum.

Poverty is a sign this system is NOT working, only for the super greedy rich. The manipulators and parasites.

Re: These stories touch my soul...
We need the word MORALITY to come back into society. What those police officers did was the Moral thing to do. Good on them.

We have a ways to go with everyone doing the MORAL thing.

One example: Is it Moral for anyone to believe that anyone should lose their home to foreclosure when in fact the banking system is nothing but a system of counterfeiting and theft? Where are the MORALS of the judges and court systems? Where is the Morals of of society as a whole who allow such a thing to continue? Where are the MORALS of the so-called Gov't to allow pure theft of property?

GOOD MORAL PEOPLE MAKE A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE.

We can only control what we can control, and that's having a heart full of kindness and compassion.

If everyone did it, we'd have our better world.

I do agree...but...
With the government taking so much of our income -
It is difficult for us to provide charity.

The government decides how charity is to be distributed in the most dishonest, thieving way (most of it does not go to the needy).

I’d rather decide how much charity we can afford and distribute it in an honest manner.

Re: These stories touch my soul...
Posted from my wife.

This is Newton's Wife..... Following along the "Chicken soup for the soul" theme..... I wanted to share.... I work with elementary students. We are a very low socioeconomic neighborhood. 87% black, 11% hispanic. They get fed breakfast, lunch, and dinner to go during the week at school. When school is out.....things are rough for these kids. A great deal of their families are in the cycle of poverty, welfare, and crime. We do a program called "Golden Owls", its our weekend backpack full of food program. We send kids home, Friday, with a backpack full of food to last the weekend. Sure most are on food stamps..... but.... stamps can be traded, parents work or are not home, so access to food can be an issue. We started this because we noticed students hoarding and stealing food, usually on Fridays! On Friday afternoons, I go into each class and ask for the Golden Owls..... you should see the faces of these lil ones LIGHT up! They look so proud and winning! They grab their backpacks and follow me, like little ducklings, to the food room! They load their food into their bags and absolutely glow! It is hands down the most awesome thing I get to do each week! Its not about the food, its about the fact that they are noticed. They are singled out. They are special. SOMEONE does care.
All week long, I get knowing smiles, hugs, and fist bumps. They all remind me to not forget them for Golden Owls, starting Wednesdays!
They got double bags for Christmas break.... Im praying for them now!
This blesses my heart greatly and I wanted to share!
