We are born with no memory of why we incarnated here. With time and effort and experiment, we gradually discover our path, what skills we want to attain, and where we want to place our energy.

For some, it is obvious from an early age what they want to "be", for others it is a long journey, with deviations off the track, before realizing. We all have a task here, whether we grasp that or not, whether we know from the beginning, or whether we realize it with our last breath. In the sense, we can never actually do the "wrong thing".

We can make mistakes, yes, and they can have serious consequences, but they are only deviations and they are a device through which we learn. All this shows that we are all incredibly important and can make a positive difference. This is our ultimate mandate, to improve the world in some way for others. This is our saving grace. This is what ultimately gives us fulfillment.

OP: you are so important. You talk about your "compass". Your compass (or intuition, or divine core) is inside you. You can close your eyes and consult it. Once you learn to trust it, you will always have help on hand and you will never be alone. Wishing you all the best.

Hi Travis - we can all look at the same thing in a different way. It's a new year - time for a fresh start.
