Before the Roman's the united kingdom was a collection of disparate infighting heathen tribes, until the Roman's united them and showed them what civilization was about.

Then the Roman's pulled out and Roman Britannia once again sunk into the dark ages of a bunch of infighting bickering heathen tribes.

After many years of bloodshed and war the kings slowly cobbled back together Britannia out of those divided tribes and created the united kingdom.

With the rise of the United Kingdom and the return of a united civilization, the British empire, like the Roman's before them went out and created colonies and commonwealths to empower the empire.

Withouth Britannia/ the united kingdom, the entire region would still be a bunch of disparate infighting tribes and they would have probably never achieved anything.

Of course their wouldn't be a Untied States are Canada either most likely if that were the case.

But without Britannia history would have been far different for sure and that should mean something to everyone, no matter their flag or nation.

After all the British Empire shaped the world we have today.
