A short history lesson. What country started a coup to remove a democratic elected leader in the middle east? Correct, the USA. The CIA finally admitted it regarding Iran's election in the 50s. What country installed a dictator in the ME after staging a coup of the elected leader? Correct, the USA installed the Shah who ruled with violent punishment for opposing views. What country shot down a commercial airliner following its regular schedule and route? Russia? Correct! Anyone else? Correct! The USA shot down an Iranian commercial flight killing all aboard. What nation attacked and killed US naval crewmen? Iran? Wrong! Israel. So why does Iran have have bad blood for the USA? Look at what we did. All because the elected leader was going to audit the oil export fees big oil was paying. Not always but usually distrust,dislike,even hatred is found in past acts. Why do they want nukes? Because we dont do those things to nuclear powers. If history was taught in this country we might avoid future conflicts and even mend some old ones. Will we? Nope. Acknowledge the truth? Why start now.
