France has been lost for a very long time, but for a hundred years they have had us to bail them out. Hopefully we won't expend lives and capital in the future to save people who won't save themselves. Maybe France will awaken again as they finally did in the Middle Ages after about 700 years of raping, murdering, plundering, pillaging, and other abuses from the invading horde. Actually most people speak up. There is something else happening recently, I think its the lack of rentals, high rents, low wage comparison, and vulnerability that most people experience, which is by design.

And most people really don't understand how evil their governments are.

That's what I am having trouble understanding as well. There is of course the possibility that the father is afraid of prison? Although I'd think if he actually saw the video that worry would quickly leave him. However if he is afraid of reprisals against his family from others in the Muslim community he may feel helpless and that doing nothing is the best course of action. Anyway I'm betting it's fear keeping them from acting. Quite cowardly but I dare say my American peers would mostly follow suit.
