Seriously wtf.

The kids haven't been seen since September. The cops ask the mother and stepfather who claim they're woth family in Arizona. Cops find out that's not true and go back to question the mom and find she has fled with her new husband out of state. Her husband killed her ex husband "in self defense". His ex wife died a "natural death", but has since been exhumed for an autopsy for further investigation. Apparently they are in some end of the world cult and ran a podcast or something.

I think this woman's brother was killed too...can't really figure out the details, but this is one incredibly fucked situation.

Two of Lori's ex-partners have also died in the past two years. Her ex-husband Joseph Anthony Ryan, Tylee's father, died of a heart attack in 2018. 

In July, her husband Charles Vallow, 63, of Texas, was fatally shot by her brother, Alex Cox, in Chandler, Arizona.   

Cox himself was killed on December 12, the day after investigators exhumed Tammy's body to conduct an autopsy. 


So her brother was killed. Wow

I read this case. Considering the dead bodies surrounding it before the kids disappeared, I don't think the kids are alive anymore.

Even more unsettling is that Chad Daybel married this woman 2 weeks after his wife died. Holy mackerel.

"After his attempted murder, Brandon asked the court for full custody of his four children and requested Melani not see the children without supervision.

"The agents investigating (the shooting) have indicated to (Brandon) that they have concerns over the children's safety if they remain in the care of mother unsupervised," Brandon's attorney wrote in a court filing.

In that filing, Brandon's attorney expressed his concerns about Melani's relationship with her aunt, Lori Vallow. Melani frequently spent time with Lori and took their children to her home, according to the filing.

Brandon said through his attorneys that he worried his children were "at risk of imminent physical and emotional harm" if they were to return to their mother.

When she was alerted to the shooting, Melani did not express concern for his safety or the safety of the children, Brandon claims in court documents.

About two weeks after the shooting, Melani texted Brandon that she had decided to move to Boise, according to court documents.

"The kids could remain with you in Arizona, you would have to arrange for daycare, and I could have the kids for school holidays and summers. Or I could take the kids to Idaho and enroll them in school there and you could have the kids for school holidays and summers. Please let me know what you'd like to do," Melani texted Brandon.

A judge granted Brandon temporary custody of the children. Brandon said he is living with the children in hiding out of state.

In November, Melani was arrested on suspicion of trespassing on Brandon's parents' property in America Fork, Utah, according to the Utah County Sheriff's Office. She was released from custody the same day...."

Yes it is very strange that this isn't big news all over the country, much less local AZ news.

I read that one of the men who died had actually been shot at before the day of his death. It was a gun with a silencer. They shot through the window of his car.

I can't figure out who the second male is that died.

Interesting that his wife wasn't concerned for his safety or that of their kids, when he got shot at.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think the kids are dead. The mom had told someone her daughter had died a year ago, which wasn't true (not yet anyway), and her husband told someone he had no kids, which is also not true.

So odd.
