I'm guessing one of the engines has shut down, that's why it turned back.

This protest is turning into a revolution which will probably succeed.

I've got friends and family in Iran. They're still slightly cautious about the US and Israel, but at this point they'd rather be frieinds and allies with the US and Israel than stay under the totalitarian regime.

They want freedom and most of all - they just want a more normal country and not the screwed up crap they've been under for 40 years.

I really don't think Trump would. Way to much collateral damage. We'd definitely flatten every military base/arms warehouse/and nuclear research facility they had but nukes outside of MOPs I just don't see.

I agree that, in the unlikely event, one of our carriers were struck hard that Trump might well use a low-yield tactical nuke.

Iran and Syria are extremely close friends. Repression from the mullahs regime won't be any different than that of Assad in Syria. People will die by thousands, dozens of thousands if a revolution does happen. A revolution will make an exterior intervention much easier from the USA though but how will Russia and China react to the loss of a strategic ally?
