Please pray for my husband's family as his brother just killed himself.

I'd say a prayer but it would be disingenuous as I'm an atheist. I will say when my father got sick (at 69 years old) he decided to take his life in the same manner.

I was the one who discovered him so I know the immense pain and suffering.

Till i read more of the bible and Gods word...

I have seen the compassion God has shown upon us,with giving his son to us,to cover our SINS..

We must be able to forgive,once dead,the sin is payed for.

It is a vile thing to take ones life,Its not our life to take...Only God can judge who that man is,or will be if returned to life!

HE took his life,not sure God will give it back to him...

But we can always pray,And he WILL listen to our cries ...

Its in Gods hands now...It all depends who he was as a man...hopefully he had a good soul..if not..Who knows..

So sorry for your loss and for others who have lost family members to suicide. My prayers go out to y'all.

For the heartless and judgmental- The black pit of despair is so deep. Unless and until you have been there, you have no idea. Pray for forgiveness because sometimes the very thing we judge comes back to bite us. Trust me, you do not want to experience that deep dark chasm of pain

The pain is from memories, positive that was left behind and that future memories will not include him. Be happy he no longer has to put up with the BS this world offers as you can see from some posts of those who have no clue.

We all die.. and being able to know when one wishes to go is brave. We all will go eventually and why not choose when that time is right? I do not listen or believe what any religion has to say in the matter as I believe its a tool to control the population.

We are born without a choice. Given a name without a choice. We all face an end and we can choose that time.

Be happy for him as I've been on the other side and when I returned, I so desperately wanted to go back. I will soon of my own choosing.

Nothing to fear. I find it ironic that so many paint death as something negative.. its not. It's a transition to a new, or old, existence.

We morn the memories.. not the death. Those not connected to the diseased are morbid of the situation.

I prayed, woke up at 3 am, lit my votive, said prayers for all the people with sick (I don't use specific names for illness's so it's just 'sick') and for many friends family members who were called into active duty in the US and for guidance for everyone. May your family heal.

My husband's birthday is today and he says it feels like a nightmare.

His daughter's birthday is the same day as my husband.
She was there the day her Dad locked himself in the closet and killed himself.
He practiced all week.
