Beacuse it was American vassal state right? Iran had revolution so that they could rid of foreigner parasites leeching on their resources. They had every right to do so.
Imagine Russia deciding that British foreign minister is a danger to their country and would bomb Heathrow airport when British high ranking politicians would be there. That's the same thing USA did yesterday.
