O's cookie has a lot of info on a 12,000 year apocalyse.
Velikovsky (I know that spelling is wrong) does a good job of describing "waves" from the galactic center. Project Camelot has an old, but good interview with him.
Something's going to happen that ancestors have tried to record. Oh well, live life one day at a time.
