I still think SDOW out of the money options are going up before expiration. VIX calls are too fast for me personally. I have a few hundred out of the money calls for SDOW, but think VIX might have been the better vehicle. Yet I didn't know the Iran BS was gonna throw a monkey wrench in my plan...

Commissions are $0.65 per 100 contracts (Each trade is 100 contracts). TD no longer charges for the actual trade. I think that's your question.

I will have no idea how much the actual contracts will cost until a few minutes (5) after the market opens.

You're too late.

The market knows before you do.

The time to do it was last Thursday at the close.

This market has one more high to go (at least) then it will topple over. Wait for the S&P500 to hit ~3267 and go with out of the money SPY puts -- at least 3 months out.
The S&P will lose ~1000 points, the DOW 8-10K points, then afterward another parabolic move up.

**Maybe** the S&P drops to 3189 or 3155 before turning back up, but I doubt we see a major crash here. It needs a new high first.

Personally, I don't see much happening. But, the market reacts to news, so, if you want to make some money, the options market is the best way to move.
