Our country’s first peoples lived seemingly hand in hand with fire, having developed complex fire management practices that complemented their deep understanding of the country and landscape in which they lived. Some of our ecosystems have evolved to be fire dependent, and require periodic activity of fire. [link to www.science.org.au (secure)] This is true. There is a type of tree (type of pine?) that only drops and opens its seed pods after a fire. |

What isn't normal is over 12 million hectares burning, over half a million animals, mammals and birds dying and the speed at which it has burnt. The record burn was something like 4 million hectares. It's over 12 million now. They have had record heat. OP, you're a dumbass. |

Look and you will see...then annihilate their seed vaults... because they are an insult. |
