Check out this email my wife and I got this morning. Jan. 8, 2020 Dear Cory Elementary School Families, It is our priority to keep you informed of incidents related to student safety. Today, one of our third-grade students reported to one of my team members that they had found a bullet in our PE classroom. We immediately contacted the Denver Public Schools Office of Safety and Security to investigate. I would like to assure you that the safety and well-being of our students is our No. 1 priority at Cory. As a reminder to all students, it is never okay to bring weapons of any kind – real or fake – onto school property. If your child hears a threat made against another student or the school, we want them to report it immediately to a trusted adult, Safe2Tell at 877-542-7233, online at [link to safe2tell.org, (secure)] or the Denver police non-emergency number at 720-913-2000. Check out this email my wife and I got this morning. So if there was after hours training taking place there, it could have been a false flag exercise. But couldn't it also have been a training exercise about a school lockdown? I always thought it was a little bit crazy that parents aren't more concerned about schools declaring lock down and refusing to give your children back to you until they are ready to.
