UPDATE: 7 fatalities from tornadoes and storms in Deep South. TORNADO WARNINGS CONTINUE!!!p11

For Louisiana, it is over, but other areas in the country still have to watch it.
Louisiana's severe weather threat is OVER. The strongest wind reported was 71 mph on the Causeway. Most land locations experienced gusty winds but those winds stayed below severe criteria with this event.

I'm in rural n.e. alabama ,st. Clair county...very heavy rain, flooding, so far so good ,,thank God it calmed down before it hit us.

Just brought in the horses, locked safely in their stalls.
They thought I was crazy to bring them in so early,
especially as they are enjoying the wacky 74 degree
weather!

Enticed with apples, though, they came in and have
hay to munch on.

They will be gratefully understanding soon! Haha.
