Get your SKS ready for hog hunting

Mount won't stay zeroed. learn to use the iron sights. it keeps your peripheral vision open which might save your ass in real combat (against hogs of course)

as someone who has tried mohnting to scopes to sks rifles ofer 10 years, i can tell you they all suck dick. become proficent with the iron sites, you will hit soda cans at couple hundred yards.

that gun is built to be tough. putting a scope on it takes away from it, and all of the mounts wobble to a point wjrre they become inacurate or impossible to site in.

They may have fucked up gun laws, but they can make a great gun.

The only problem I have with the iron sights is that I can’t see em in the dark. I need to hunt the hogs at night.

Ya, I figured I’d try this first before I sell it in order to get a rifle that is meant to have a scope.
