[link to www.wvtm13.com (secure)] Nearly 700,000 people are set to lose access to SNAP - the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program - otherwise known as food stamps. That’s due to a new rule that says if you don’t work, you don’t eat. It’s focused on able-bodied adults under the age of 50 with no dependents who work less than 20 hours a week. The administration says it will launch people out of poverty, while critics argue it punishes people who can’t find jobs. Soledad O’Brien sits down with Ed Bolen from the Center of Budget and Policy Priorities to discuss who is affected and how the President might cut more benefits from America’s poorest residents.
