We are all watching the impressive eruptions and we have seen some pictures of the air quality - but seriously what happens when the bulk of the big cloud comes down?

So far it seems most of its going up - do we know how high?
I read that if it goes 2 miles into the atmosphere it will or could effect weather some.

Right now I feel like everyone is watching the eruption go off with sort of shock and awe - but really what is going to happen with all that ash/glass -

Is this bigger than Mt St Helens at this point - does anyone know. Also I read TAAL has gone off in the past for MONTHS.
I don't see how any of those evacuated people could ever go back with that kind of situation.

Anyone know the conditions in Manila?
I would guess that Air Port is going to be closed for a long time if this continues.

Not really impressive today, but noteworthy thing is that the cracks have been reported...

Most eruptions of #Taal are violently explosive, and therefore many historical eruptions have been destructive and deadly.
The most powerful historical eruption seems to have been that of 1754, which lasted from May until November and killed dozens of people.

Fissures or cracks observed around Taal Volcano are an indication of an imminent explosive eruption. Fissuring occurred before the 1911 climactic eruption. These fissures appeared today on almost same locations as previous (i.e. Lemery, Agoncillo, San Nicolas)

The crater lake or caldera of Taal Volcano, once full of water now seems empty or at least have considerably less water after its phreatic eruption last Sunday and lava fountaining early Monday morning. The volcano island is also covered in volcanic ash after 4 days of activity.

Good morning, I wonder how today will be for our World.

I have a friend stuck there right now, hasn’t been able to board the flight back home to the US after their vacation, thought they’d be coming home tomorrow ( Wednesday ) any one know about flights ?

I wonder about conditions in Manila as well.
Any information on the glass/smoke cloud - what goes up must come down. I really feel for these people, between the fear and the conditions.

The Provincial Council of cavite has had a special session to develop and approve the resolution that says that the entire province of cavite is in state of calamity due to the effect caused by the volcanic volcano explosion.

According to PHIVOLCS, the recent fissures that appeared across various towns in Batangas is a sign of magma moving towards the volcano's crater. This scenario is similar to the previous Taal's eruptions in 1754 and 1911.
