Report Copyright Violation | Mortar fire hits base in Iraq, at least 4 wounded!!!!!! Seven mortar bombs fell inside Iraq’s Balad air base, which houses U.S. forces, on Sunday.
Four Iraqi soldiers were wounded in the attack, two military sources told Reuters. It is not known how many US troops are stationed there currently.
The military sources said the mortar bombs fell on a runway inside the base, which is located 50 miles north of Baghdad. [ link to www.dailymail.co.uk (secure)] The doom is real! |
