If you spend your life wanting nothing to do with God, when you die, do you want to be with God?

Many a person will regret the path they chose on earth the very millisecond after death.
They will realise instantly that while they were alive and in "time" they could have changed their eternity. Now dead and outside of "time" they are forever in a condition that separates them from God.
This separation is so horrible the scriptures compare it to fire.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76634959 In separation would have to be illusionary since God is omnipresent. And Jesus spoke often of the second death which seems merciful then this state of eternal burning you speak of. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77957449 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’ “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life." It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, where “ ‘the worms that eat them do not die, and the fire is not quenched.’ Jesus Christ
