Honestly, I'm a female that feels the same way about men, at this point. In no way am I a 'man hater'... I think masculine men are vital to life and sincerely appreciate them.

However, I am friends with my ex. We are knocking the 'coparenting' thing out of the park. I think the key is that we date but have not seriously committed to someone. After 8 years divorced, we recognize a partner wants influence and they can't help but put that before the best interests of our children. So we keep it the way it is.

Men, initially, represent the 'knight and shining armor' thing and are intrinsically motivated in the beginning. But after a bit of time, I'd say after a year tops, they completely snap back and reveal the male state sans 'hunting phase'. Once they feel/know they've 'caught' the prey...well, admit it guys... you become a headache for us,too. You know what I mean!
