The state of healthcare in Fredericton, NB Canada
We don't have enough nurses. We can't keep them. The nursing program at UNB is underfunded and is not putting enough people through to meet the demand, and even if this wasn't the case the nurses would just leave anyway because that appears to be the strategy: exploit the cheap economy for your personal education needs, and then go somewhere else to make more money in a less stressful environment. We all really appreciate your dedication to the Hippocratic oath.

Many people do not have a family doctor. There are a series of clinics, walk-in and otherwise, which are all over town and from my experience, as a non-medical professional end user of this system, it's like they're all in "temporary" locations now. So there's a bunch of irrelevant addresses and phone numbers on the internet and it is ludicrously difficult to get accurate info.

I just called one clinic hoping it was the one I was looking for, but it wasn't, because it's just that confusing. And I was then informed that the clinic I was trying to call "doesn't take phone calls."

How did this happen. I've been running around town screaming like a lunatic for three years now. Frederictonians, I'm asking you with a pretty stern, angry look on my face. How did you let this happen?

You know who I am. You can't say I didn't try to get to the bottom of it, or raise awareness of it. Now we're all living with the results of your complacency.

Have a good one.

Sorry, I guess it's been closer to two years than three years. Time flies when you're a target involved in hostile takeover.

Have a good one.

Repent of your wickedness. Many of you were silent complicits in this whole operation, many of you are still willfully engaging in the culture of incessant gaslighting and lies.

You will give an account to the Lord God Almighty. His grace is good and His wrath is furious. You choose wisely.

And I will continue walking around town doing my non-violent activism and street preaching. Have a good one.

How long have they been Canadian citizens, 4 months?

The biggest takeaway for any outsider looking in, hoping to learn something from this, is how unbelievably quickly the decline occurred. They destroyed our city in like 2-3 years, it is unbelievable. It's not just healthcare, they wrecked everything.

Re: The state of healthcare in Fredericton, NB Canada
I took a walk around downtown Fredericton today, it seemed quieter than usual. I don't really know how much of the local population feels the way I do, but if they do, it's understandable if many people aren't leaving their houses.

I introduced myself to two different pairs of newcomers to Fredericton. I know they're newcomers because they can't speak English. Apparently not even a lick of it. They looked startled, apprehensive and mostly just walked away from me as I talked to them in a non-aggressive way in English.

How are these people supposed to integrate and get jobs if they can't speak our language? Who chooses who comes in? Our mayor is trying to make it easier if hasn't already. There's news stories about his plan for 25,000 immigrants over the next 25 years, and he states plainly they're trying to make the process easier.

There have been other times when it seems like there aren't many people around, and like today, I typically see more out of province plates on the road. Mostly Ontario, Nova Scotia, and Alberta.

Very sad to hear, OP. Much of my family comes from around the Moncton area. Your problem is SOCIALISM. It's a long term problem in Canada and having Turdeau as PM has made it far worse. He's bringing in foreigners as fast as he can, and I have no idea what they're gonna do in NB. When my family left there long ago it was mostly farming and lumber communities....not exactly what "refugees" want to go into.

At some point Canada is going to have to reject socialism and Leftists, or there won't be any Canada left. The US isn't far behind you.

Re: The state of healthcare in Fredericton, NB Canada
After lining up 45 mins early, and initially being told there's a good chance the person I had to see wasn't going to be in today, I was able to get in. A nice man at the clinic came out to tell me that she just came in after I was told there's a good chance she's not coming in and left.

The help I received from the medical professional was helpful and appreciated. Receptionists need to learn to be more proactively helpful. Just because you can say, "No," leave it at that, and get away with it, doesn't mean you shouldn't proactively offer as much information as possible to ensure your clients are actually getting the help they need.

Have a good one.

I am a Canadian and your are incorrect. At one time, that was true but not now. Yes you can see a doctor but it doesn't cover the cost of any medication or treatment prescribed. No dental and no eye coverage. That is examinations services or products.

So how do you get better with no money? You don't.

And this is one of the main points. It isn't that we're being unthankful for what we have, because it is still largely better than lots of other places in the world, it's that things are declining at a frightening rate but the news and a bunch of people in my personal life are acting like there's nothing going on.

If the news said, "Oh by the way, half the 3rd world is moving in, and everything by comparison to the past is going to be horrible going forward, that would be one thing. But they aren't doing that. They're gaslighting.

And as society gets older and no one wants to shelter the burden of someone else's problems...you have to start dealing with the problem humanely.
