My mom used to make them open faced for breakfast.

She would toast the bread...put on the PB and then the J...onto a cookie sheet & bake until the J was bubbeling.

I burned the roof of mu mouth many times on those...but it was worth it

I've changed jelly from year to year...been back to strawberry for about 15 years now.

I likes raspberry for about 5 years but got tired of it. Apple ain't bad but I think I'd rather slice an apple for making a PB & A sammich.

I actually had that happen once.

I ordered a club sammich & fries from park tavern...I took one friggan frackin bite & the doorbell rang.

37 seconds later I come back & my dog (Lady) had wolfed down the entire sammich & was trying her best to choke down the fries before I got back.

Atleast she had her priorities right.

I just has a terrifying thought...
