You look from a great distance of oh that's nice, or enjoy it from your hotel, or have a sunset dinner at one of the restaurants overlooking the ocean. You safely stay at least a football field length from the Oregon Coast ocean if you're on the beach and you never ever turn your back to it. There were warnings of King Tides. Even on a clear day, you tend to be very hesitant & cautious on the Oregon Coast.
