Just stand back as the witness(awareness)and watch it! The body, mind, emotions are not you! You are the silent witness behind and before it all. Nonduality!

Remember to stay away from negative people that are always complaining. Find people that are positive and have goals in life!
 Quoting: UltimateMirror

Sucks when you have someone like that who is family and you're stuck having to deal with them.

I have a sister who's never had any goals or ambition in life, who's just drifted along from one bad choice to another, and who always blames others for what happens as a result of that.

And constantly complains about every little thing, non-stop. Just being around her for 10 minutes totally destroys my mood. If we didn't have the same mom, I'd want nothing at all to do with her.

Some great advice in this thread though -- I think exercise is a good one, I always feel a lot better when I go to the gym regularly, and when I take long hikes in nature

Drugs.

And Jesus, when possible.
 Quoting: Gabriel~

Ketamine Therapy is the most effective it almost completely relieves depression within 30min. And the anti-depressant effects last around a month from a single moderate dose. They actual have Ketamine Therapy centers now but insurance doesn’t cover it yet so it’s expensive as fuck.

You can get technically legal Analogs of Ketamine, PCP, & PCE though for around only $60 a Gram. All three pretty much have the same effects for depression. I’ve used most of them an can attest to their effectiveness. There’s Deschloroketamine, 2-Fluorodeschloroketamine, 3-MeO-PCP, 3-MeO-PCE, 3-HO-PCP, 3-HO-PCE, and a couple more new ones will be released this year as well...

hang in there OP - it gets better as you get older

D3 helps me a lot - gritting my teeth and waiting it out did me well for over 40 yrs - like I said it mellows with age

sucks that all the docs push the SSRIs but they only work on 50% of us with depression and they have no idea what else to do ...

I've dealt with this for over 40 yrs - it kinda gets better and/or you learn and get used to it and how it runs

just be depressed don't fight your feelings. Be be present in your moods to not burn bridges. Eat pizza and drink Juice. Yep rockon
 Quoting: silvervega

Yeah. Don’t fight it. Just move through it. Sometimes we’re happy. Sometimes sad. Eventually we’ll be one of the other. If you’re sad just wait. You’ll go up. Same with happy. You’ll move down. It’s an ebb and flow.

I’ve just used Kratom for pain since doctors refuse to treat my symptoms but I did notice an anti-depressant effect, not as strong or long lasting strong as Dissociative's though. Cannabis helps too I haven’t had any since September though when I was raided for ordering 100 tabs of ALD-52 which is a version of Acid that’s in the grey area of the law. Analogs can only be prosecuted by the Feds under the Federal Analog Act unless the State you’re in has Scheduled it. I find out the test results they did tomorrow for everything they seized. On the warrant they falsely claimed under oath that it was LSD-25. So hopefully I can get all the charges dropped due to them lying under oath. The only legit charges are related to me extracting DMT which was discovered during the raid under false pretenses...

I’m currently facing a minimum of 7 years in prison lol. The drug laws in my county and NC are fucking insane. If they do get me for the DMT charges I’m facing at least a year or two...

I'm trying to stay away from all those things. Keep it natural. I don't drink alcohol or smoke cigs. Just physical exercise. I ride a bicycle every day, I get high on oxygen, specially when you ride in woods or parks. We are depressed because there are so many distractions and noises around us.
