You've misunderstood that bit of scripture. The "two witnesses" are your own eyes my friend. Seeing is believing, & in this age of deception, we can only trust what we can prove. God gave us common sense as a failsafe mechanism to discriminate truth from falsehood, & that most chief of our commonly shared senses is sight.
