30 round mags were ILLEGAL in New Jersey - even before 9-11. It's a FELONY to possess them even if you don't have a gun or ammo. So in New Jersey, everyone giving away mags, and everyone RECEIVING one would be an INSTANT FELON in the People's Republic of New Jersey.
