My ex wife decided she wanted to be knowledgeable enough about mechanics that no shop could BS her so took classes and decided she liked it well enough to get into it as a side biz... eventually ended up cherry picking used non runners she found on the cheap and getting them back on the road at a nice profit. Fact is too, in a male dominated trade a woman has to be better than the guys just not to catch hell.
