Carve out an exception to the rule, given the unusual way in which his enemies tried to squander his first term to protect a deeply embedded shadow element conspiring against the United States. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74628864 Well wouldn't that be awesome! I misspoke, sorry. They cannot pass an amendment, they can put one forward. It would require 2/3rds House, 2/3rds Senate and ratification of 3/4ths of the States. Yet, another reason to destroy the Democratic Party in both houses in November. |

Quoting: Regal Beast It would be a totally new thing but I don't see why not. It's like a posthumous pardon. Uh huh, I guess that's why the highest judge in the land presides over the trial.. Criminal law hasn't a darn thing to do with it. One political body (Senate) can dismiss the actions of the other political body (House). Judges are not the Law and black robes don't make them God. They are as corrupt, fallible and partisan as anyone. I'm sorry you are so brainwashed. The bad, bad orange man is here to stay. Last Edited by TexasPaleo on 01/13/2020 11:56 PM |

One Congress can’t change anything a prior Congress did except of course pass new laws or change old ones or perhaps issue a mea culpa. But this impeachment by the 116th Congress will stand. |
