NJ Bail Reform just allowed release of a man arested for attempted murder.


VINELAND – A Millville man is charged with criminal attempted murder and police continue to search for a second suspect in the Jan. 2 center city shooting of a Salem County woman.

Robert H. Blakely 3rd, 21, of Cecile Drive, is charged in the shooting of an 18-year-old Lower Alloways Creek woman, who was sitting in a vehicle parked...

The woman was rushed to Inspira Medical Center Vineland in the vehicle in which she was shot.

A single shot traveled through her upper arm and lodged in her chest, investigators said. She was flown to Cooper University Hospital where she is in stable condition.

Blakely is also charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.

He was processed, held in Cumberland County Jail and later released following a hearing per the N.J. Bail Reform guidelines.
