Greg Abbott said Monday it's inarguable the church security chief saved lives when a gunman opened fire last month during Sunday services at a house of worship. When the shooter opened fire, killing two parishioners in the West Freeway Church of Christ sanctuary, Wilson ended the incident as quickly as it began. Two men were killed when the gunman opened fire at West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement on Sunday morning, as more than 240 parishioners were inside. Within seconds, he was shot to death by two congregants who fired back. [link to www.foxnews.com (secure)] One thing I don't understand is why we STILL don't have a motive for the shooting. There's very little news covering the shooter. I heard from some video that the shooter totally disguised himself with long fake hair and a fake beard and dark clothing. Sounds to me like he didn't want to be identified and planned on getting away with a mass shooting and didn't plan on getting shot. My conspiracy detector is going off BIG TIME on this one. Did somebody send the shooter into that church with a promise of a big payday? |
