They had an independence vote 5 years ago and they voted to stay in the UK.
The SNP are a bunch of whinging haters who think they are better off outside the UK but inside the EU. They do about 70% of their trade with the rest of the UK, so you can see the flaw in their argument...
The SNP don't want independence, they don't want to leave the EU!

Quoting: Andy-Capp Summed it up nicely.
Quoting: orangesandlemons yep
tbh it's a win win for the snp
they don't have a referendum to distract them
they do have to knuckle down and get on with brexit
no one in Scotland will thank them for pulling a corbyn and obstructing everything they can because they can- because they can't really- not with the tory majority as it is
so , they get to blame the tories for another 5 years while fudging minimal accountability for themselves - something they like very much and are good at
and this act of 'imposition' from Whitehall was exactly what started the small minority 'snp ' back in the day (70's)
and now they run Scottish parliament, Scottish councils and have a healthy 50+ mp's in Westminster and have permanently ended the 2 party system north of the border
I thank thatcher for single handedly catapulting Scottish independence into the mainstream from that small minority
and this kind of stunt just does the same for the next generation of Scottish voters
it-Scottish independence - will come
it will be right for both Scotland and the rest of the uk when it comes
but it isn't right now
we are stronger together for the next few years and that's how it's going to have to roll :)
