I got this news article on my phone and was chewing on it all afternoon. Had finally decided to post something about it here when I found this thread.

This is something that has never happened in such a publicized manner. Not saying it doesn't happen but they bring out the press, cancel meetings, and obviously are checking ID up and down.

Made a short list of issues this could be addressing.

-NBAF (Not supposed to start coming online until next year in small ways but now would be the time for certain things to be decided)

-Chiefs Playoff game threat. Ever since reading The Sum of All Fears I've been loathing Super Bowl season and New Years Eve. Both are fat targets. This weekend KC plays at home in Kansas City. Given problems abroad it'd be as good a target as any.

-Ft. Riley. This is a major base where a lot of training and where the Big Red One is stationed. I even heard some of the guns going off today while in town (I know that places me but it is important to note the activity). Maybe they have a reason to be training right now as opposed to in a few months when it is warmer.


I had a couple others but when I started to type about them it felt like they didn't belong. We only have one nuclear plant, and the major population centers don't have much to them (besides NBAF in Manhattan and Kansas City with the Chiefs).

Just throwing things out there and seeing if it sticks for anyone. I'll try and feel out to a few friends in local government and see if anything has reached here.

Expect a leak to come out soon from the meeting. Probably just a heads up that ICE is finally going to start cleaning up western KS. It's over run with illegals.

I think the weird colored explosion in the Ohio sky was a failed emp attack, in fact some people lost power because of it. There was also a strange explosion in east Texas.

Local news first reported this story at 5:00pm and are repeating it on their 10pm broadcast. In an interview immediately following the meeting, one attendee questioned why it was made into such a big deal since it dealt with very mundane protocols that were nothing special at all.

Looks like it may be about foreign attempts to hijack government computers to obtain information.

They don't suddenly bus lawmakers off-site without any aides present to meet with DHS to just talk about cybersecurity tips. That's what they were told to say.

This probably was what those drones were looking for.
