Re: Do you believe that Americans would fight a Civil War to preserve their rights
Things haven't gotten bad yet, but they will soon. When food & water are scarce, utilities & infrastructure are collapsing, when the debt bubble is popped & the dollar becomes worthless, when the streets are overrun with Muslim rape gangs, there'll be 2 types of people - the dead & those fighting for survival.

Yes, civil war is coming - it's by design. I wish it wasn't the case but our civilization is under attack & the enemy within are calling all the shots. My guess is things will go hot once they deploy U.N. troops on our streets.

Will they send UN troops to Va? Guns are the One thing that Americans will fight over. The Queen learned that and now the communist in VA are going to learn that. It won't take long to end the Anti-Constitution govt in Va. It wouldn't surprise me if someone put a Bounty on the Governor's head like they did for Trump.

I wanted a gun my wife could shoot (she has short arms and needed adjustable stock) so bought a scary black rifle with little recoil. I wanted a high end Remington 700 decked out for some long range shooting but could not afford both.

Oh well. We are having fun for now.

It should be obvious to all observers that the last 50 years have been a primer for a horrific civil war...
in the aftermath.. the manipulative evildoers will waltz in and erase all evidence of the Goodness inherent in America from inception until 19601860....

.223 I assume?
 Quoting: Oaken Paw

Correct. Chambered 5.56 or .223. Much cheaper ammo too than .308. There are no long range ranges around here anyway.

My wife of 46 years uses 20 ga Youth gun for clay shooting. I compete against her for fun along with a few of my friends. She kicks all of our butts. She really is a natural. I won clay shooting tournament a few years ago so my aim is pretty good. I call her dead-eye.

Only takes 3% - Not everyone was for the first American revolution.
 Quoting: Little Red Hen

Seriously though. It wouldn't take much of the populace to mount a successful campaign. It really depends on which side the State Police, Sheriffs, and of course National Guard would fall on.
 Quoting: Festus Hoggbottom

I think many of the Sheriffs and the National Guard would side with the "3 percenters" and I think that is how lots of Military hardware /tech would make it's way into the "3 percenters"hands. I think the police and State police would side with the gov.

I think in today's environment it would take between 5 and 10% because the fight would be with terror cells and local police too.

Forgot the UN, that’s a non-starter. They can’t come anywhere close to fielding a viable fighting force here.

(No I’m not Canadian it my flag is still indicating that.)

What concerns me right now is the thread about the low testosterone levels. That an ominous portend.

I tend to agree with this. A paycheck is one hell of a motivator. It might not drive them so far as to really come at the resisters in a huge significant way, but those of you who are assuming that the LEOs are on your side, think that through.

While secretly they’re probably with you, in action they probably won’t be.

I get where you’re coming from, really I do! On the other hand, I think Americans are vastly more awake now.

Will we fight? I think yes — at some point and to some degree. Will it be enough? It sure as hell could be, then again I’m not going to hold my breath.
