Elite preparing to move into bunkers

It seems stupid to go under ground given the nature of potential threats.

I mean if your under ground during an impact event, you die because of the earthquakes.

If your underground during a crustal shift, again, you die because of earthquakes.

There are alot of events that both rapidly destroy mountain ranges, and raise them up from the ground.

The only safe-ish structure, would be something like a pyramid, in the right location. Anything else is ironically, an elaborate tomb.

Unless you expect nukes/chemical or biological weapons incoming, then bunkers are a good idea.
