Near half a million people showed, looked like millions, the largest British civil protest in history they said, it was sobering, don't mess with the country folk I'd venture...

There were hundreds of thousands of guys in like Robin Hood attire, or tweeds and welles and what they call breeks, and all manner of weird ass pointed Austrian looking hats, they carried horns and bagpipes and gun slings, babies, beagles, and foxhounds, it was quite a sight.

I stood there at the Thames, and really I kept feeling I was in a Heywood Hardy painting, full on Horse and Hound visual, as time stood still for this revisitation of history. These folks had the hunt in their bones and blood and they were clear, in sheer numbers, that no one was going to fuck with their rights.
