I will add there has been a slight uptick in French aviation assets going to the Middle East area recently. Mostly tankers going back & forth.

There must be a surrender planned. The French are surrrender specialists. The De Gaulle is a specially outfitted surrender boat, with a surrender signing table mounted to the deck and pre-installed white flags on hydraullic mounts that can be raised up at high speed. In drills, they topped their previous record surrender time by two full seconds.
