Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78351232 After reading this thread, and then watching a bunch of news videos about it online from multiple news agencies, I don't feel like I have learned much of anything. Everyone seems to be ignoring the event entirely or only covering it in a surface manner and they don't explain much of anything. Here is the link to popular russian forum, kinda like glp but more popular. You can translate and see what russian people think about the whole situation. [link to www.yaplakal.com] Thanks for that yaplakal link. I have stated reading it, but that thread alone is already 86+ pages long, so I have barely touched the surface of it so far. I'm sure that forum has other threads on this topic as well. For anyone else that wants to read the thread or any other Russian language link or article, Google translate seems to be working well enough to give very readable results. If any of you don't know how to translate an entire website or forum thread, go to the main google translate page [link to translate.google.com (secure)] and then copy and paste the russian website or forum's web address into the left box. Press enter or tell it to translate into english and it will translate the entire website into english so you can read everything just like it's a normal english forum thread. There's no need to copy and paste individual paragraphs or forum posts into google translate to get translations. If anyone here has a translation site that works as well as google, I would love to know what it is. I don't like using google for anything, but I have yet to find an alternate translation option that isn't glitchy or unreadable much of the time. Yeah good stuff on there see how they really feel |
