Also, do you think they're the same thing as "shadow people"? I have always thought shadow people were interdimensional travelers who basically just observe, but aren't necessarily evil like a demon would be. I believe demons exist though. There's too much evil in this world for them not to exist.

I ones saw in a sunny afternoon this "shadow people" they are darkshadow humanlike stickman id's, moving very fast without gravity, cartoonlike jumping around totally noiseless.
When you can see them, they are also surprised that you can see them and will hang around till you go away from the perception.

You can easily see/spot/"catch" them with big mirrors placing at around 45 degrees angles, placing them in the far corners/walls of the room etc., thus mirror facing away from your own reflected image.
Thats why the folklore of dracula, vampire, wizard/witches, interdimension travellers are working with mirrors.
They hide from us, for us there's no hiding from them these "demons"

Just as it is with humans, not all sentient life have good intentions, or care to let empathy stop them from the objective at hand.
Most of the encounter's I've had were positive, and
felt quite familiar in ways indescribable by word. From my frame of reference, most of these beings prioritize love above all else; however, there are some that're terrifying in the way they handle interaction, and establish their dominance through fear & control instead of Love & mutualism.
Just as we host every complexity in relationship, so too do these beings.
I can say that while many experiences may have been attempted at being wiped, the intensity of being pulled into their shared frequency has it's consequence and can only be mostly erased at best; all it takes is one memory to cascade the remembrance of others.
