I think it was easier for us when my husband was AD. Either that or I really am just getting older than dirt! When we couldn't go home, it was ok. We had the kids and each other. It was alot less stressful than being home with the whole clan.

Oh, we'll be ok. It's just that they're so little. They have everything in front of them. I can't believe my oldest grand is in the 4th grade today! The 2 youngest started kindergarten. I AM older than dirt! LOLOL

I've been putting another set of boxes together to mail to them, so that helps.

You know, I haven't made it to the lake at all this year and we haven't been in since we've moved up here. The first few years we had bad algae blooms and it wasn't safe. This year has been perfect, except the closest public beach had all the sand wash out last spring. Gonna have to fix that before it gets cold!

My biggest hole is not having space for a deep freeze. But I made up for in canned meats. And the regular freezer is full of prepared meats that I cook as they come into our home.

I would love another 100 pounds of flour. I planned another twenty for September. It’s not the end without it..... just would like two years worth....being prudent.

Thanks to SN..... I managed to get my toilet paper game back to another year. I was down to three rolls. I was eyeing my washcloths.

My kids love those. I didn't know there is a brownie variety. They'd love that, too! I get the blueberry/raspberry from Sam's usually.
