Myocarditis is fairly rare normally and difficult to see on a ECG/EKG unlike pericarditis. But recently I have been to a few chest pains who have made me think myocarditis!!

We interacted earlier being in similar situations. A lot has happened since then and it’s clear to everyone time for my fil to move here. It is dangerous at this point for him to live alone. Live in caregiver is too risky as they come and go. Nursing home is out for obvious reasons. Siblings all agree. This is going to be VERY hard to get him to agree. He cannot make decisions about what to eat for lunch much less moving here and selling his house. We can’t even move a piece of paper at his house without 20 questions. Wish us luck.

My sil has been trying to buy a house since she moved closer to her kids. She is having a hard time with the market so fluid where she wants to buy. She has a bid on a house big enough for mil to move in with her. Until then, we have to try the home health care thing. No one else has a house that will work for her. If that doesn't work, we'll all have to take turns staying with her until sil can get her house. That's the best move for everyone. Mil will be with her grands and great grands that she knows best.

Lots of luck to you. We still have time, but not much if my experience with my family has shown me anything. You absolutely know when it's time. It's like turning a light switch on/off.
