One does have to consider the timing, less than a month before election day, and the President who has consistently underplayed the dangers of this virus suddenly is infected with it and "cured" all in one week?

Now, on one hand, that seems highly coincidental. On the other hand, there were a lot of other people infected from that event, including Melania (I hate how MSM couldn't give a rat's ass about *HER* condition). And a LOT of people would have to be trusted to keep their mouths shut if this event was a setup to "prove" the virus is not dangerous at all.

Personally, I think it's a matter of they caught it very early and he received medical care that no civilian would ever receive. We all know about patients who "recover" and then drop dead of heart failure, kidney failure, etc. a month later. So I think regardless of any claims of being "cured," the jury is still out on that.

A huge difference is that culturally, Asians have been wearing masks in public on a daily basis for years. They don't even think about it. Westerners seem to think that wearing a mask is beneath them or an infringement of their rights.

Until you overcome that hurdle, discussing anything else is pointless.

You know..it has been said that people will beg for lock downs.

I'd pay attention to cockroaches, too. From what I've seen so far, it sure seems that the latest mutation over here is not only killing the newly hatched ones, but is also making adult cockroaches sterile.

It's just a hypothesis, but if it turns out to be true... then it's reasonable to assume that SARS-CoV-2 is also affecting, in pretty much the same way, other forms of life -- animals, birds, fish... people.

So, yep... I'd definitely pay close attention to cockroaches.

They're the species closest to humans (in terms of physical proximity, as we're sharing the same living space), and are most likely to be the first to start showing early effects that are (or should be) expected to be seen in human populations... in the "long" run ... 9+ months after the beginning of an outbreak, when statistics start showing an "unexplainable" drop in the number of newborns.. in the form of monotonically decreasing function with the limit value of 0 as time approaches... something between 12 and 18 months?

This could very well be the a Resident Evil (a virus turning people into brain-dead zombies) and Children of Men combo (a virus making people sterile).

... just something to keep an eye out for...

I just heard on the news that Trump's doctors have said the he is no longer contagious.

However, I want to know if he has tested negative for Corona virus. He was supposed to have had a test Friday evening, and I have not heard the results of the test disclosed.

Well, true. Point is, if these elected officials are saying such things now, what hope is there of gaining much compliance to strict measures in the general population for when the new lockdowns are inevitibly announced.
