Well, got my first covid test today, in the Atlanta area.

Process was very easy - you just drive up (just 2 cars ahead of me in line) and show them the access code from the phone. Then they gave me a card with info to check results, and then I went to the test tent. The nose jab went easier than I thought, probably because of all the snot in my nose (still stuffy.) No pain. And that was it.

Now I have to wait 24-48 hours for the result.

My cold seems a bit better this morning - I've maybe gained back about 20% of my smell. Sinuses are still congested, and still have the cough, but not bad. TBH, I'd be surprised to get a positive result - this feels like a run-of-the-mill cold to me.

It pays to be sure, though - I can't risk going out in public until I have that negative result.
