Well .... the virus does seem to enjoy severe cold.

We have, hopefully, good news on Granny.

She is off the high pressure oxygen, and on regular oxygen now. She is also taking small amounts of liquid by mouth. She is still only off and on responsive, but does complain about her pillow (a good sign).

We are optimistic she may actually make it through this. I am unwilling to get too happy just yet, as have hear so many stories about people who seem to be doing better, but then take a sudden turn and pass.

Thank you for all the prayers. I know Granny is not long for this world, but really do not want to see her go this way.



Some of Granny's amazing history from when she was a young lady. She always thought the artistic license taken with her "assets" on the nose art was pretty funny. OBTW, she snuck off to have those pics made in Dallas. We don’t know if this new variant is from a super spreader event. Seems more likely it started in a very sick hospitalized person.

IMO, because the CCP designed this bug to be extra deadly to the people they regard as problematic. IOW, this was intended to thin out the African continent so they could easily take the farmland and mines. Just enough Africans remaining to be workers, but not enough to dent their ammo budget.
