The only way for me to survive is to keep moving.

I have issues with sleeping and the meds make me groggy in the morning. Also, I don't get enough sleep most nights.

However, once I get moving I try to do something physical every day.

Today I built a log cutting rack for my firewood project. Just one huge oak tree took me two days to cut up.

Before the weather gets wet again, I have to cut down more trees in the pasture.

The new log rack will help a lot.

Off topic, but I try to contribute ideas about prepping.

If SHTF, we will all need firewood. I think a good chainsaw with oil, gas, extra chain, etc. is a primary survival tool.

Just my opinion, but I see the United Kingdom being much more open or providing information about the variants and the impacts on society. I do not find this in the United States. All I am reading is propaganda pushing for vaccines. Maybe it is just the information I am finding presented on this forum, but if I go to Reddit, I find the same thing.

I have read some interesting and insightful, although sometimes tragic, personal stories on Yahoo news.

This seems to happen so often with me that I sometimes wonder if its always my fault!

Henry, apart from an odd A/C of unknown age, I am pretty sure the majority of people on this website that I interact with have seen, heard, and performed things that most people would not believe, and would shun in dis-belief. I know I was present at some "events" in Nigeria that very few people would believe.

Is this something that is important to people on this thread? Music has been the best part of my life. I thought me sharing it with you guys was a +. However, so much red and hurtful comments. Also, I only post music when posts are slow. Really surprised by the aggressive back-lash to benign and frankly good music posts???

Jazz, I commented to you as you are deeply in red and apparently it is not important to you. I did not mean to infer that you were the reason. However, I am curious about this whole green red system. thx for clearing that up. yeah i got lots of red.ppl don't like my jokes and the truth either. i do think there is a good chance of getting caught in a ban if it gets too high. seems to act that way.otherwise nope it matters not.

To be honest fear of the virus. Is doing more harm then good.

Sure sure prep, be smart, protection but it is still “ fear of contracting.”

Fear should be considered into the equation, and if that is shunned away

To be honest both sides are leaning way to far to their side, and that what makes me suspicious. Especially due to every result of Covid including Covid is novel. So fair assessment, everyone trying to persuade is “full of shit”.

Jazz I think it is wise to always consider everything, especially now that we are reaching long term consequences, mentally, especially those in isolation.

I mean if you came up to a man or woman in the woods, that has clearly been in isolation from human contact. You sure as shit would be suspicious of their mindset.

And I would consider everyone reaching an “isolation mindset” at this stage of the game.

It is really every man/woman for themselves in this world.

And I have said from the beginning perfect time for self reflection and improving one self. Never hurt anyone and it is an achievable goal under current circumstances. So no harm no foul

I told you repeatedly that our old people in care homes are dying after receiving their corona shots.

Yesterday, there was an article in main stream press, but the comments of readers were the most interesting ones!

About how those in the care homes are still in "isolation incarceration" and not allowed visits from their family, even if they are fully vaccinated. Not allowed outside for a walk as well.
They are dying in there in mass and not from corona!
This due to staff if those homes not wanting to get vaccinated.
And it's much easier to make profit if no one can visit their old family members and see the dire circumstances those older people have to endure.

At least 2 of the commenters mentioned their old family members died in the care home and the death certificate read "cardiovascular arrest and covid-19" - there was officially no covid in their care home, and the doctor never examined why they really died.

It's awful.


On the other hand kindergartens are open again but many of the really young kids who started kindergarten last September are crying their hearts out every morning because they don't want to go (even those who really liked kindergarten before lockdown in December!)

Exactly why I stay AC now, never agreed with the karma system. Never paid attention to what people said about others, especially in real life and online. I make that decision based on personal interaction. Setting myself up, but Atleast it is my assessment and someone else’s.

People abuse that karma system and I find it really really odd.

i have not seen or heard of anyone overly fearful. considering the risk.most think it is a hoax or effects only old ppl. they are not near as informed as here @GLP.
they wear masks since that is the rules.but half heartedly at that. they aren't careful as they should b. agian i blame the goevern. for not informing and teaching ppl.

Every thing about this is awful, either way you look at it. But not detrimental, unless it’s lights out. That is a given.
