I am seeing cases of post-Covid or post-vaccine sniffles with major illness, not hospitalized, but very ill. This is within the last week and one half.

I know for sure one was not Covid, or they told a group of people it was not Covid.

Is this due to a weakened immune system from the vax? Usually you do not see that severe of these types of symptoms in the early summer months. One person said it was the sickest they had been in years. These are normally healthy people, with no known other illnesses.

(CNN) — Two passengers on a cruise ship in the Mediterranean have tested positive for Covid-19.
The pair were traveling on the MSC Seaside cruise ship and disembarked with their families in Syracuse, Sicily, on Tuesday, MSC told CNN on Wednesday. The two passengers were asymptomatic.
The cruise had previously docked in Malta but the passengers were forbidden to disembark as the ship only made a "technical" call, according to the cruise operator, which would not disclose the nationality nor the total number of passengers on board.

Not looking good still. I think the most positive thing to say is that the rate of increase of R may have slowed down, but it's still not exactly the kind of trend we want to see right now.

This new variant has a very high R factor, so it will spread. It will spread to most, but only a fraction of vaccinated people will end up in the ICU. It will still happen, and some will die. But the unvaccinated, and never been sick, will become overwhelmed. That will overwhelm the hospitals.
Once the hospitals are overwhelmed, we get to India levels of devastation. Someone showed that NHS "MAY" end up with an even worse wave then the last one.
Seeing this, it will send a lot of people to get vaccinated, but it will probably be too late. This variant, as seen in India, appears to come in hard, spread quickly, and then tamper down.

Hoping I'm wrong, but the UK data isn't looking good right now.
